Impact Report

DSAL and the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) are thrilled to share our first-ever COMMUNITY CAPITALS POLICING Impact Report. The Impact Report covers the positive systems changes enacted and community support provided from March 2020 through the end of our fiscal year, June 2021.

In this report, you’ll discover statistics, quotes, photos, and timelines that illustrate the work of Community Capitals Policing and examples of the investments in the natural, human, social, economic, built, political, and cultural capitals a community needs to thrive.

We are deeply grateful to the partners and funders who collaborate with us and support our efforts to uplift the community and prioritize health, wellness, and public safety for everyone. We also want to acknowledge the vital role Alameda County Supervisor Wilma Chan played in supporting DSAL’s work throughout the years and accelerating the impact of Community Capitals Policing.

And visit DSAL’s website to get involved or donate to invest in our work.
